The End of the road for the Tax Disc

The tax disc is going from 1 October 2014
From 1 October 2014, you’ll still need to tax your vehicle but you won’t get a tax disc.
If you have a tax disc with any months left to run after this date, it can be removed from the vehicle and destroyed.
DVLA will also let you pay for your vehicle tax by Direct Debit for tax starting from 1 November 2014.
For more information on how these changes will affect you, go to www.gov.uk/dvla/nomoretaxdisc.
You can follow The Highway Code on Facebook and Twitter to get regular rule reminders.
